The Ship of Hell

Written by the father of the Portuguese theater - Gil Vicente - The Ship of Hell is a medieval play from the 16th century. Several archetype personalities arrive to a crossing point after their death, where they find two boats: the Devil's (Mafalda Pinto Correia) and the Angel's (Mafalda Pinto Correia). Even though they carry their sins with them they all think they deserve Paradise and they all end up in Hell. A morality play that questions the corruption of the human character.

This show is an original creation by Mafalda Pinto Correia, João Cravo Cardoso, Tiago Jácome, Mafalda Banquart and Manel Nabais.
